Bitcoin's cumulative issued supply crossed 20 million BTC at block 940,000.
Fewer than one million of the 21 million nominal maximum remained to be issued through future subsidies, although issuance will continue for more than a century. Circulating or spendable supply is lower because some coins are provably unspendable or presumed lost.
