Bitcoin Tools is a free collection of simple Bitcoin utilities for everyday users. Each tool gives a clear answer first and explains it in plain English, with the technical details one click away for those who want them.

It is built by Kostas Karasavvas, a Bitcoin developer and educator and the author of python-bitcoin-utils, a widely used Python library for working with Bitcoin transactions and scripts.

Principles

• Private by design. No backend, no accounts, no analytics, no cookies. Anything that can be computed locally (like address validation) is.
• Never asks for your keys. No tool asks for a seed phrase or private key. If any website asks you for one, close it.
• Honest answers. Where something cannot be known for certain (for example, which output is change), the tools say so.
• Open source. The code is MIT-licensed on GitHub. Issues and suggestions are welcome.
