Writing
Blog — 10 posts (2020–2021): a tutorial series on Bitcoin internals (keys, addresses, transactions, signatures, P2SH) later superseded by the Bitcoin Programming Textbook, plus a piece on multibase/multihash data formats.

Past Projects
Blockchain credentials — related work
Alongside the verifiable-pdfs platform featured on the front page: the Blockchain-Proofs library for validating blockchain certificates, currently supporting Chainpoint v2 with room to wrap others such as OpenTimestamps. Also contributed to MIT Media Lab / Learning Machine's blockchain certificates project, blockcerts.
Community and teaching
Organized and spoke at Bitcoin/blockchain meetups around Greece — Thessaloniki and Athens — and guest lectured at academic institutions. Taught Bitcoin and Ethereum programming in Master's courses at the University of Nicosia and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Introduction to Bitcoin (2016)
An "Introduction to Bitcoin for new users" ebook, available as pdf, epub and mobi (outdated, written in 2016).
Bitcoin Android applications
A Point of Sale app for merchants accepting bitcoin, born from real requests at the meetups, and a Bitcoin quiz app with ~150 questions at different levels (both outdated).
Workflow technology
Worked with workflows for years in academia and the bioinformatics industry, producing several open source contributions: OGSA-DAI's workflow engine for federation rules, Taverna Workflows to Web, Workflows to Galaxy and the MyExperiment REST API library.
Distributed data access and management
Member of the OGSA-DAI project for 4.5 years, working on data federation and access via web services, grids and clouds; researched architecture improvements, prototyped new ideas, and bridged the academic research and development teams.
Even older
Early projects spanned low- and high-level work: a Linux bootstrap sequence, a floppy device driver, porting C/C++ projects to Windows (e.g. the OGSA-DQP software), an editor, text-menu libraries, a chat server/client and a MUD.
